Important update for our parent training: Parents of children who are San Diego Regional Center (SDRC) clients, may register at no cost.
We’re excited to announce a new EBCALA website featuring our first West-coast conference. It’s entitled Empowering Autism which aptly describes our mission to advance legal and advocacy strategies to improve the lives of those with autism.
This afternoon, TRICARE released a statement via email which reversed information found on their website dated June 25, 2013 regarding new ABA policy changes. The first sentence of TRICARE’s statement acknowledged their website information did appear to pertain to all TRICARE beneficiaries.
TRICARE’s proposed referral and authorization process for military dependents seeking ABA therapy will take affect on July 25th. EBCALA is trying to publicize the change because TRICARE did not individually notify the more than 23,000 military families affected by autism.
