The rule of law as a fundamental legal principle and legal doctrine, the global meaning of which is the equality of everyone before the law, is a necessary basis for the qualitative and sustainable development of society, since it covers almost all aspects of life of citizens.

The purpose of the conference was to study and discuss topical problems of the rule of law as the basic system of values and the rule of law, including – international and domestic mechanisms to ensure the rule of law in the face of modern challenges and threats; observance of the rule of law in the activities of law enforcement and judicial authorities in the context of technological and social challenges of our time; problems of legal regulation of civil legal relations under COVID-19 and others.
